Soy Glaze

INGREDIENTS

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
½ teaspoon ground ginger

DIRECTIONS

Mix brown sugar, soy sauce, white sugar, water, white wine vinegar, rice vinegar, and ground ginger in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until reduced by half, about 30 minutes.
Let glaze cool until thickened, at least 1 hour.
